McKelvey’s last letter to Mrs Sullivan – family friend – written on the morning of the execution 8th Dec 1922
This house, Walmer has since been demolished but it was close to the present Fruithill Bowling Club on Andersonstown Road.
When McKelvey’s remains were tranferred back to Belfast in 1924, the RUC took considerable intest in the proceedings.
